Seben Navigator 203-1000 Reflector Telescope

Seben Navigator 203-1000 Reflector Telescope

Product description:

The Seben Navigator reflector telescope - with its huge 203mm (8“) aperture and enormous focal length of 1000mm – carries on the steady development of the popular Seben reflector telescope series. It has 73% higher light gathering ability than 150mm (6“) telescopes.

Make your dreams come true! The Seben Navigator telescope is due to its 203mm (8“) aperture a telescope which will suit you a lifetime! It provides sharp and high-contrast images and makes more than 5,650,000 stars visible (faintest discernable star: 14M!!!!) – a must for professional astronomers.

The Seben Navigator telescope grants you nearly unlimited possibilities, since its huge aperture of 203mm (8”) makes even the dimmest celestial objects visible. With the Seben Navigator telescope you will spend unforgettable nights observing the beauties of the Deep Sky:

Countless very impressive galaxies and Deep Sky Objects, which can't even be dreamt of with smaller telescopes, can easily be observed with the Seben Navigator telescope. The Great Nebula in Andromeda (M31), the Whirlpool Galaxy (M51) and the Omega Nebula (M17) are just examples of the many spiral galaxies, global clusters, open clusters, nebulas and other Messier Objects which become observable. Some of the greater star clusters will already be resolved into singles stars with the Seben Navigator telescope. Spiral arms of galaxies will become visible and numerous structures of planetary nebulas will become perceptible. You’ll see (in the true sense of the word) that the most impressive observations are waiting for you beyond our solar system with the Seben Navigator telescope.

But that's not it - our solar system keeps many precious treasures also which can be disovered with the Seben Navigator telescope:

Jupiter's four largest Galilean moons (Io, Europa, Ganymed and Callisto), which already become visible as small disks with the Seben Navigator telescope, as well as Jupiter's cloud belts and Red Spot can be observed easily.

The same is valid for Saturn's Rings, the Cassini Division as well as Titan, Iapetus, Rhea and Tethys – some of Saturn's moons.

Observe an abundance of surface details on the moon in brilliant contrast, e.g. lunar craters and rilles. The Seben Navigator telescope will reveal secrets of which you can only dream with smaller telescopes!

The phases of Mercury, Mars and Venus can be seen, as well as many Martian surface details. With good filtering you'll even be able to make out structures of the clouds which surround Venus.

Although Uranus and Neptune require a detailed star map to identify them from their surroundings, they will show their distinctive colours. Finally, Pluto shines faintly at about 13th magnitude. With the Seben Navigator telescope you determine the itinerary through the universe! If one of the planets is visible in tonight's sky, take a moment to gaze its way and say hello to one of your celestial neighbours!

Because of its up-to-date-construction, and in combination with its modern, high performance 1.25” (31.7mm) accessory sockets, you are able to equip Seben's Navigator telescope with nearly every accessory available. It is even possible to extend Seben's Navigator telescope for the popular pastime of Astrophotography!

Please note, that Seben's Astronomy Products are always provided with a lot of accessories, for which you usually would have to pay a lot of money! Contrary to that, we provide you considerably accessories for free!

The added 31.7mm (1.25“) Moon Filter reduces the Moon's glare. This is produced by reflected sunlight and normally washes out most of the craters and other surface details from view.

The additionally supplied 31.7mm (1.25“) Barlow Lens enables a doubling of the magnification of the inserted eyepiece.

The 31.7mm (1.25“) 1,5x Erecting Eyepiece produces an upright and side correct image. This is of particular importance for terrestrial viewing, because usually the image would appear upside down in an astronomical telescope. You can use it for unforgettable terrestrial observations. Animals, birds and landscapes can be seen in unimaginable precision, even over great distances.

Because of its lower power the 8x50 Finder Scope (35% higher light transmission than e.g. 6x30 finder scopes) makes it easier to locate celestial objects. Once they are spotted with the finder scope, switch to the Seben Navigator telescope and use its tremendous magnification ability to bring your observation target into sharp focus.

With the provided 31.7mm (1.25“) Plössl eyepieces (4mm, 10mm, 30mm) the foundation stone for a high quality eyepiece collection is laid. Plössl eyepieces have always been known for their high quality and provide a clearly notable increased image quality than ordinary eyepieces. With these tree eyepieces you can look forward to observe with the following magnifications, without further accessories having to be bought expensively: 33x, 50x, 66x, 100x, 150x, 200x, 250x, 375x, 500x.

The Seben Navigator telescope comes with an extremely sturdy tripod and a very generous proportioned equatorial mount. The equatorial mount incorporates a pole finder, which thus doesn't need to be bought additionally!
